IMPORTANT NOTES 

• This floor sander is NOT very aggressive. This means it will not easily create low-spots if you accidentally sand in one area too long, BUT it also means that it will take longer to sand your floor than a more aggressive sander (ie - Drum Sander). 20-grit sandpaper is recommended to begin most projects, with lighter/finishing grits to follow.
• This sander is very heavy, approximately 100 lbs. You will need (2) people to load/unload the unit. Dropping the unit will cause damage to the base plate and the borrower may be responsible for the $130 replacement cost. Please play it safe and get an extra hand to help.
• The unit's handle can be re-positioned so that it fits into most vehicles, including sedans. 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

• $5 maintenance fee.
• 7 day limit (no self-renewals, staff/volunteer approval needed).
• Uses regular 110V power.
• 50 ft. Heavy-duty extension cord is included.
• Sander pads & paper need to be purchased separately (usually available at the Tool Library, $7/ea). You may want to consider inquiring availability in advance. These may also be available at Home Depot's equipment rental section. 
• Depending floor condition, expect sand paper to be effective for 10-40 square feet.
